Bath rugby fans’ worst fears have been confirmed this week at the news French Top 14 giants Toulon are keen to sign England lock Dave Attwood permanently according to Somerset Live.
Toulon want to sign Dave Attwood from Bath Rugby this summer and the second row would be interested in a permanent move.
Attwood has just finished a loan spell at Toulon after recovering from a long term knee injury.
He went to France to get “mentally refreshed” and has played some inspired rugby at the Stade Felix Mayol.

The second-row is due to report back to Bath for pre-season next month but now Toulon may make a move to keep him in France which the big former Bristol lock would not be against according to reports.
However, Bath would want a transfer fee plus need to find a suitable replacement before considering a deal.
