Transfer Rumours: Exeter Chiefs set to sign hard working lock

Exeter Chiefs are set to bolster their second-row options by signing one of their Premiership rivals most hard-working forwards.

Newcastle Falcons lock Will Witty, who came through the clubs academy, is the man being linked with the move to the South coast.

The move was first reported by The Rugby Paper before Rugby Pass also suggested today that a two-year contract is close to being completed.

Witty was a part of the England side that made it to the final of the 2015 World Rugby U20 Championship, starting alongside Charlie Ewels, as well as other senior England internationals Ellis Genge and Paul Hill.
