Transfer Rumours: Premiership side target Michael Chieka

Leicester Tigers, despite having nailed their colours to head coach Geordan Murphy, are looking into bringing in another big name coach to the struggling Gallagher Premiership club.

The Daily Mail reports Tigers are looking to to recruit Australia head coach Michael Cheika as director of rugby after the World Cup.

RUCK POLL:

Murphy was made permanent head coach in the autumn but he has not managed to dramatically improve Leicester’s poor form this season which sees them in 10th place in the table.

It’s reeported that the club have ‘made enquiries about bringing in Cheika’ but the likely high cost is putting them off.

The 52-year-old has been the Wallabies head coach since 2014 and led them to the 2015 Rugby World Cup final.
