Warren Gatland has asked Harlequins coach Graham Rowntree to join his strong backroom staff for the British and Irish Lions beat New Zealand this summer.
Gatland turned to Harlequins’ forwards coach yesterday, requesting that he joins a backroom team already comprising Andy Farrell, Rob Howley and Steve Borthwick.
Rowntree’s title will be assistant coach, the same as Gatland’s other recruits.
