There was certainly more than a hint of All Black wing Julian Savea in teenager Barry Karea’s stunning solo try in the English school’s U-18 Champions Trophy final at Allianz Park in London on Wednesday.
The Blundell midfielder, who was named man-of-the-match in his side’s clash with Dulwich College, lit up the match in the 57th minute when he picked up the ball and ran through four Dulwich defenders, using brute force to power his way over the try-line.
