France U20 back-rower Jordan Joseph has been applauded for his sportsmanship after he removed an injured Ireland player from an intense ruck.
Scrum-half Craig Casey, who has had three surgeries on an injured knee, found himself hurt at the bottom of the ruck before Joseph unconventionally dragged him to safety.
The other French player also looks to lift himself up to take the weight off Casey’s leg.
Looked to me like Jordan Joseph was dragging Craig Casey out of the ruck with the aim of preventing further injury.— Murray Kinsella (@Murray_Kinsella) March 8, 2019
Not sure if that is medically the right thing to do, but fair play if he was trying to help. pic.twitter.com/Vo05amlIdg
The France back-rower was then thanked by the Ireland stars mum.
