WATCH: Quade Cooper’s Epic Assist After Wallabies Star is Confirmed for Barbarians

Legendary Wallabies fly half Quade Cooper has been confirmed to play for the Barbarians, in their upcoming match against the World XV. Australia Head Coach Eddie Jones has called on Cooper for the invitational match, ahead of the Wallabies push for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Following the announcement, with the teams today officially confirmed today, a video has re-surfaced from an all-time great Quade Cooper assist. Super Rugby posted the throwback video to their Twitter account, and features Cooper tearing up the 2011 Super Rugby semi-final.

In the 12-year-old clip, Cooper stars for the Queensland Reds, and pulls off one of the greatest try-assists that Super Rugby has ever witnessed. The Wallabies star gathers the ball on his own touchline, inside his own half, and sets off with an outrageous step and fend on Lachie Munro.

Cooper then outpaces the trailing defenders, and sells a dummy to keep attacking along the right touchline. He is eventually brought down by a Blues defender, but manages to get the one-handed off-load away to Reds 12 for the try.
