What happened to the last four England head coaches?

We look at England head coaches after they held the reins and the effect the job had on their future managerial prospects.

Stuart Lancaster (2011-2015)

After leaving England following the disastrous 2015 Rugby World Cup campaign, Leinster Rugby announced that Lancaster would join their backroom team in September 2016 with immediate effect as a senior coach.

He was hailed as an inspirational coach by the Leinster players following the sides victory over Racing 92 in the 2018 Champions Cup final. Despite being linked with senior roles with Gloucester and Harlequins, Lancaster has chosen to remain with the Irish province.
