England and Exeter Chiefs star Jack Nowell has revealed he’s keen to try a new position one day as he continues to recover from his latest injury setback.
The England international, who won the last of his 36 caps against Argentina during the 2019 Rugby World Cup, played through the pain with as Exeter won the European and domestic double in 2020
Speaking on The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, Nowell revealed: “I would like to change position one day as I get older.’
The winger, who has played a little bit at outside-centre, added: “Some wingers nowadays are so quick you know,.
“I’ll always back myself to do a job, but obviously the bigger and older you get I’d be really keen to give centre another good go.”

1. Tom Youngs – Centre to Hooker
Youngs is the son of former Leicester and England scrum-half Nick Youngs, and the elder brother of current Leicester and England scrum-half Ben Youngs. Originally a centre/winger he changed to play at hooker after advice from then Tigers’ coach Heyneke Meyer.
What might surprise you is how rapid and small he was. Check this out.
