#3. Joe Marler (Harlequins)
On the international stage, Marler captained England at U18 level and went on to represented England U20s and the Saxons.
At 23 he was selected for the Senior England side for the series against Argentina and soon became a regular selection, playing 14 consecutive matches for England prior to him taking time off for the birth of his first son. Marler won his 50th cap for his country against Scotland in the successful 2017 RBS Six Nations campaign.
In 2017, Marler – along with fellow Quin Kyle Sinckler – was named in the British and Irish Lions’ squad to tour New Zealand.
In the autumn of 2019 Marler came out of international retirement, winning a place in Eddie Jones’ England squad who reached the World Cup Final in Japan.
Marler won his 200th cap for Harlequins in January 2020 and the following season was named Man of the Match in the Premiership Final.
