Ireland are bidding for their first Grand Slam triumph since 2018 after victory over Italy in Rome, while Scotland, England and France are waiting in the wings with two wins from three after Les Bleus edged past Scotland and England left Cardiff with a win.

And there were signs of heading in the right direction for Wales and Italy despite a third consecutive defeat.

Below, we look at five players who’ve struggled to hit their usually high standards.

#1. Owen Farrell – England

vs Scotland – 6/10: “Couple of big hits on Finn Russell and involved in England’s best attacking moments.”

vs Italy – 6/10: “Looked comfortable at No 10 but kicking stunted attacks in the second half. Goal kicking must improve.”

vs Wales – 6/10: “Not best day with the kicking tee but ran England’s improved attack with aplomb.”
