Former Wales hooker Mefin Davies made his international debut in Cape Town against the Springboks in 2002. He was a part of the side that won the Six Nations Championship Grand Slam in 2005 and amassed in total 39 Test caps between 2001 and 2007. After he had hung up his boots, he joined the backroom coaching staff at Worcester Warriors, primarily focusing on developing the academy’s forwards but also assisting with the senior clubs pack.

Matthew Watkins

Former Wales centre Matthew Watkins won 19 caps for the men in red between 2003 and 2006. In 2013, it was announced that Watkins had developed a very rare pelvic cancer while studying for rugby coaching qualifications, but has since described himself as remaining “well and active.”
