Alexandre Flanquart

Position: Lock
DOB: 09/10/1989 (Age 26)
Current Club: Stade Francais
Honours: France
He may only be 25-years-old but Stade Francais’ Flanquart has already established himself as a key member of France’s second-row. Flanquart, who since making his debut in 2013 has represented Les Bleus at the 2014 and 2015 Six Nations, was selected by Phillipe Saint-Andre in his 31-man Rugby World Cup squad in 2015. So far in the tournament he has made two outings, made up of one start and one substitute appearance with the latest coming against Romania.

Stuart Lancaster

Position: Hooker/Flanker
DOB: 09/10/1969 (Age 46)
Current Club: Retired
Previous Clubs: Wakefield RFC, Headingley RFC, Leeds RUFC, Leeds Tykes
Honours: Scotland Students, Scotland U19, Scotland U21
Coaching career: Leeds RFU Academy, Leeds Carnegie, England Saxons, England
The current England head coach Lancaster initially took over on an interim basis from Martin Johnson following a disappointing Rugby World Cup campaign in 2011. He was appointed officially after a successful Six Nations in 2012, keeping his assistants Graham Rowntree and Andy Farrell. England would win the triple crown in the Six Nations under his leadership in 2014 before they recorded an impressive away victory against Wales in the same competition a year later. However, what Lancaster will always be remembered for is his inability to get England out of their pool at their home World Cup in 2015. Defeats to Australia and Wales at Twickenham meant England became the first primary hosts to be eliminated at the group stage in World Cup history.

Julian Savea

Position: Fullback/Centre/Wing
DOB: 08/10/1990 (Age 25)
Current Club: Hurricanes/Wellington
Honours: New Zealand Sevens, New Zealand
The outstanding All Black wing Savea is a potent attacking player with a phenomenal strike rate, scoring 35 tries in 38 tests for New Zealand. He may only be 25-year-old but the powerful winger has already proved himself to be one of the greatest All Black try-scorers of all time due to his ability to create and cross the whitewash almost at will. A great bulldozer-like runner, with the capacity to burst through defences, Savea has scored 27 tries for the Hurricanes in 72 Super Rugby appearances.
