Max Evans

Following in the footsteps of his big brother Thom into Test rugby, Max Evans made his Scotland bow against Canada in 2008. The running centre then went on to win 44 Test Caps for the Dark Blues’ up until 2014. Following the 2011 World Cup, he joined Top 14 side Castres from Glasgow Warriors, where he won the French title in 2013. The following season he played an influential role as they reached the final again, but this time they lost out to a Jonny Wilkinson-inspired Toulon. After leaving them at the end of the 2014/15 season, he is currently a free agent. Taking time away from rugby, Evans was also a professional golfer in Portugal from 2004 to 2006.

The dogged and passionate Italian Sergio Parisse is outstanding in the lineout and has the flair and pace across the ground to gain valuable ground when the Azzurri drives forward. Parisse won the first of his 113 caps to date at the age of 18 in 2002 and since has played a prominent role in Italy’s 2003, 2007 and 2011 World Cup campaigns. The number 8 is set to add to his tally as he Captains Italy at the upcoming World Cup in England.
