Bristol Bears contact England fly-half over shock move

Bristol Bears are on the search for a world-class fly-half according to the latest reports.

The Rugby Paper reports that Bristol Bears director of rugby Pat Lam has enquired about the availability of Leicester Tigers’ incumbent England number 10 George Ford.

The 26-year-old, who is reportedly not overly keen on the move, currently has 62 caps for England and is expected to add more to that tally throughout the rest of the tournament in Japan and for years to come.

His agents have reportedly opened positive talks with the powers that be at Welford Road about getting their man a new deal, but the Bears remain keen.
