Bath reportedly offered their longest-serving player Matt Banahan a new two-year deal and gave him a deadline to make a decision.
That deadline has since passed and the 30-year-old hasn’t agreed to the terms.
The Bath Chronicle understands that both Gloucester and Bristol could be interested in recruiting the 30-year-old for next season.
Premiership clubs are not allowed to approach players whose contracts are due to expire until January 1, although sometimes parent club gives permission for talks to commence.
