England fans have been left baffled by Joe Marler’ appearance on a BBC game show after he pulled out of the clash with the Wallabies.
Eddie Jones’ men passed their first serious test of the autumn as an incisive first-half attacking performance paved the way to an eighth straight victory over the Wallabies.
However, the loosehead-prop didn’t skip the game and is actually isolating as the quiz show hosted by Michael Mcintyre was pre-recorded a number of weeks ago.
Nevertheless, it’s fair to say that fans enjoyed his appearance on the show.

Marler said: “I think he was a farmer. He epitomised those earthy, no-nonsense values on the rugby field, getting on with the job. The player I looked up to most early in my career.”
