Gloucester have signed Scotland fly-half Adam Hastings to fill the hole left by the England fly-halves departure. Eastmond was linked with Harlequins and Sale Sharks after departing from Leicester Tigers in July. The 30-year-old was one of five players to have departed, alongside Manu Tuilagi, Telusa Veainu, Greg Bateman and Noel Reid, Tigers CEO Andrea Pinchen said in a video posted on the club website.

The full-back enjoyed a successful career, which included 26 Tests for England and selection for the 2011 World Cup squad. He also made just under 300 appearances for London Irish, Toulon and Lyon across 16 years. He's now coaching with Chinnor, but could definitely still do a job in the English top flight.
