Anthony Watson’s stunning solo try clinched a dogged Leicester a 23-17 victory in the Heineken Champions Cup at Ospreys.
The England speedster showed his class with a wonderful solo score, splitting two defenders before beating Max Nagy and fending off Joe Hawkins to score under the posts.
Reacting to the try, one fan wrote: “Pure filth. Won’t be long before England come a knocking again. He should be England’s experienced winger to help the young guns find their feet.”
A second added: “He’s slowing been working his way back into form. Rock solid around the park, and he showed he’s still got the game-breaking ability this evening.”
Another commented: “Can’t wait for Watson to be back in the squad. He’s solid at almost all parts of his game and something England is missing right now.”
