England star Owen Farrell missed training again yesterday but England remains confident he will be fit to face Scotland this weekend.
The 26-year-old has not fully trained with the rest of England’s Six Nations squad since he injured his lower leg in the 12-6 win over Wales two weeks ago.
Farrell has been an ever-present in Eddie Jones’ 25 games as head coach, 24 of which England have won.
“Depending on how the game is I think I could slot into any of those slots,” Te’o told Sky Sports News. “I wouldn’t pencil myself in as one or the other. I just think I’m a centre.
“Maybe I wouldn’t have the same skill set as him, there’s a lot of other things I think I can bring.
“There’s so many different combinations in the midfield with 10, 12, 13, and it’s just which ever one Eddie wants to play.”
