John Folau, the younger brother of Wallabies superstar Israel, has left rugby league and joined the Sydney Rays in the National Rugby Championship.

Like his dual international brother, Folau junior is physically striking. At 1.93m, Folau is the same height as his brother — the only player in Australian history to win the John Eales Medal three times.
But at 112kg, he is 10kgs heavier than his older brother.
The Rays get their NRC campaign underway against Canberra Vikings at Concord Oval on Saturday.
