Northampton Saints overcame Leicester in the East Midlands derby to spoil Freddie Burns’ Tigers farewell.

One controversial moment highlighted on social media saw a Leicester Tigers player ‘deliberately’ try to twist the ankle of a Saints prop.

A fan wrote: “Not a million miles off Clark on Hawkins, no?”

Another commented: “Looks like he’s trying to break it!”

A third said: “Oof, that’s dirty!”
