Bath centre Max Clark has apparently turned down a call-up to join the Wales squad for their June tour.
Caretaker Wales boss Robin McBryde was knocked back by the promising Bath centre before naming his squad according to WalesOnline.
The 21-year-old, who was born in Bridgend and has a Welsh mother, is understood to be holding out hope for selection with England in the future.
It was a breakthrough season at Bath for Clark, who graduated from the academy to the senior ranks and featured in 12 Premiership matches.

Clark has lived in England for most of his life and went to Bryanston School in Dorset, as did Charlie Ewels and Rory Jennings.
Clark has stated in the past that he had no ambitions of playing for Wales despite his roots and it appears he’s sticking to his guns.
Wales face Tonga at Eden Park in Auckland on June 16 before travelling to Apia to take on Samoa a week later.
