Freddie Burns of Bath is due to appear before an RFU disciplinary panel. Burns was red carded by referee Luke Pearce for a dangerous tip tackle on Worcester Warriors’ Josh Adams contrary to law 10.4(j) in the 63rd minute of the match Bath v Worcester on Saturday 7 October 2017.
Burns’ hearing will take place in Bristol on Tuesday 10 October at 18.30. The panel will be chaired by Gareth Graham with Olly Kohn and Martin Picton.
Bath boss Todd Blackadder has no complaints with Freddie Burns red card.

Juan Pablo Socino of Newcastle has also been cited by Independent Citing Commissioner Peter Larter and is to appear before an RFU disciplinary panel. Socino is charged with striking contrary to law 10.4(a).
The incident occurred in the second half of the match Exeter v Newcastle on Saturday 7 October 2017.
