Scotland player ratings vs Samoa: Who shone and who flopped at Murrayfield?

Fly-half: Finn Russell – 8/10

Mixed fortunes from the tee, but an excellent playmaker. One of the most creative and unpredictable number 10’s in the world.

Scrum-half: Ali Price – 7/10

Ran the show in Greig Laidlaw’s absence.

Prop: Darryl Marfo – 7.5/10

Tackled manfully and scrummaged impressively.

Hooker: Stuart McInally – 9/10 (STAR MAN)

Line-out was, a success, and his speed around the pitch was impressive too. Almost forgot to mention he scored TWO tries, one in each half. A titanic shift from the hooker.

Prop: WP Nel – 5/10

Was replaced on 30 minutes after fracturing his forearm. Played alright, but his Autumn is likely over already.
