Transfer News: Argentina stalwart turns down Premiership move

Argentina continues to sign long-term contracts, keeping their stalwarts locked in well past the World Cup.

Former Worcester Warriors hooker Agustín Creevy is the latest to sign on, turning down a move back to the Premiership or to France..

The veteran hooker has renewed his contract with the Argentine Rugby Union until December 2021.

“I had offers to go abroad and I am very grateful to the clubs that were interested in me,” Creevy said.

“However, for various reasons, at this point in my career, I think the best thing for me is to stay in Argentina.”
