Richard Wigglesworth has penned an extension with Championship-bound Saracens until the end of the season.
Speaking exclusively to RugbyPass, the 37-year-old scrum-half revealed he penned a short-term extension, but admitted he’ll likely still be on the move.
“I will see out the season with Saracens and have signed a deal to do that and I don’t know about next season,” revealed Wigglesworth.
The Rugby Paper has reported that a player/coach role at Sale Sharks was close but had fallen through with Ealing, where the 33-cap England international already coaches, and Newcastle Falcons being the other clubs mentioned.
“This current situation has taught us to be adaptable,” added the scrum-half.

“I can now make sure I make the right decision next for me and the family.
“Saracens is all about the people and for some players not to be there will be strange and its tough they don’t get the send-off they deserve.
“The quarter-final with Leinster is a long way off but we know we are playing the best team of the season and it will get us all excited.”
