Rob Baxter is looking to sign another forward, with injuries leaving Exeter Chiefs light at both lock and the back row.
“If the right player became available around lock or the back-row, we would look at it purely because we have guys recovering from injury and we don’t want to be left thin there,” Baxter said.

“I haven’t got a particular player in mind, but if a player became available who gave us depth or a potential frontline option, we would look at him.
“I am pretty happy with the squad at the moment, but we have picked up three or four niggles around the second-row area and with Dave (Dennis) being out, it has stretched us resource-wise.

“If guys perform well within the squad or A League, it might iron itself out because players will come through, so there are no huge dramas there.
“We may look at it though because we don’t want to be challenged in the squad too early on in terms of numbers.”
