Despite Wasps flanker James Haskell putting his cards on the table and publicly saying he wants to stay in the Aviva Premiership so he can chase an England recall and a place at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan, the latest rumours suggest he could be heading to France.
On the rumours section of The Rugby Pod this week, Andy Goode – who is well connected at Wasps, said Haskell could be on his way to Top 14 side Bordeaux Begles.

The 32-year-old has 75 caps for England and was reported to be on the radars of Worcester Warriors and Northampton Saints – but Goode says he is searching for a salary of £300,000 a season which the English clubs are not keen to meet.
Haskell has already played in the Top 14, turning out for Stade Francais between 2009 and 2011.
