Jonny May could be set for SHOCK move to London

England and Leicester winger Jonny May could be set to make a shock move to London.

The winger faces a paycut to remain at Welford Road as Tigers are more concentrated on signing England teammates George Ford, Ellis Genge and Ben Youngs to new contracts.

According to The Rugby Paper, Saracens will make an attempt to sign him for next season and will be able to approach him after the new year.

He’s thought to be a replacement for Liam Williams, who is set to make a move back to Wales with Scarlets on a bumper salary.

Williams is unlikely to be the only departure from the club with Joel Kpoku and Michael Rhodes also out of contract while Richard Wigglesworth and Brad Barritt are set to retire..

Harlequins have also been linked to the speedster while, according to Gloucestershire Live, there’s interest from Gloucester to bring May back to Kingsholm but that seems highly unlikely at this stage.
