Former Leicester Tigers player Steve Booth has died suddenly at the age of 42.
It is understood that Booth died from a suspected heart attack yesterday afternoon in Leicester.
The winger played for Tigers from 2000 to 2004, and for Bath Rugby from 2004 to 2005.
Former teammate Andy Goode was first to pay tribute on Twitter and he wasn’t the last.
Such awful news. When I moved to Leicester Tigers as a young bloke who didn't know anybody in the city, Boothy was one of the players who really went out of his way to make me feel welcome and settle in. Thoughts are with his family and friends https://t.co/lfHlzW8Kkq #RIPboothy
